Nigel Short vs. Julio Granda

06/06/2012 – Nigel Short ganó el duelo de partidas rápidas contra Julio Granda, celebrado entre el 24 y el 27 de mayo, en Lima (Perú) El marcador final quedó en 3,5:2,5 a favor del inglés. El lugar del encuentro fue el campus de la Universidad Científica del Sur. Hubo también dos exhibiciones de partidas simultáneas a cargo de Short en el Club Nacional de Lima.
