Otro libro de temática ajedrecística

04/09/2002 – En inglés se titula "The Emperor of Ocean Park". En alemán, "Schachmatt" ("Jaque Mate") En español aún no sabemos el nombre que tendrá, pero parece ser que lo publicará Mondadori. En cualquier caso se trata de una novela de asesinatos en el ambiente judicial norteamericano. El protagonista, (Talcott) es, como el autor de la novela Stephen L. Carter, un aficionado al ajedrez. Y como en el ajedrez, las blancas realizan el primer movimiento en la novela. Las negras deben esperar a que cometan un error para vencer. Por el borrador de esta novela y por otra aún no escrita recibió el autor la nada despreciable cantidad de 4'2 millones de dólares. Todo un record. Puede ver la reseña aparecida en La Vanguardia.
