Etapa 1: Todos contra todos (control de tiempo rápido)
Control de tiempo: 10 minutos + 10 segundos de incremento por jugada.
Formato: Todos contra todos a una sola vuelta (cada jugador se enfrenta una vez a todos los demás).
Eliminación: Los 8 mejores jugadores avanzan a la fase eliminatoria.
Partida de clasificación: El jugador clasificado en 9º lugar elige como oponente a uno de los jugadores clasificados en 11º o 12º lugar. Los jugadores disputan una llave de eliminación directa, donde el ganador de cada partida juega por el 9º y 10º puesto, y el perdedor de cada partida empata en el 11º y 12º lugar.
Calendario:
Lunes: se disputan 6 rondas.
Martes: se disputan 5 rondas.
Etapa 2: Eliminatorias (control de tiempo clásico)
Control de tiempo: 90 minutos + 30 segundos de incremento por jugada.
Formato: Llave de eliminación directa.
Los jugadores clasificados del 1º al 4º en la fase de todos contra todos pueden, en orden, elegir como oponente a uno de los clasificados del 5º al 8º para las eliminatorias.
Calendario:
Cuartos de final: miércoles y jueves (una partida clásica por día).
Semifinales: viernes y sábado (una partida clásica por día).
Finales: domingo y lunes (una partida clásica por día).
Sistema de desempate en la fase eliminatoria
Si una partida termina en empate, el ganador se decidirá mediante un desempate:
Dos partidas rápidas (control de tiempo 10+10).
Si sigue empatado, dos partidas blitz (control de tiempo 5+2).
Si aún continúa el empate, se juega una partida Armagedón con puja:
Tiempo base: 5 minutos.
Los jugadores pujan por la cantidad de tiempo con la que están dispuestos a jugar con negras (quien juega con negras tiene ventaja en caso de empate).
