Ponomariov gana Villarrobledo 2007

06/08/2007 – Ruslan Ponomariov triunfó en la edición de este año del Torneo Internacional de Ajedrez "Ciudad de Villarrobledo" que se celebró los días 4 y 5 de agosto, alcanzando 7,5/10. El torneo se disputó en la modalidad de partidas semirrápidas, con un ritmo de 25 minutos por jugador. Con la misma puntuación, pero inferior coeficiente de desempate, se clasificaron Dreev y Topalov en segundo y tercer lugar respectivamente. Por detrás, con medio punto menos, quedaron Sokolov, Pedrag, Ivanchuk, Milov y Gofshtein. El fondo de premios ascendió a 18.000 euros, con 3.000 para el ganador. Participaron 196 jugadores.
