10/05/2004 – El Baden-Oos disputaba el título masculino (frente al Porz) y el femenino (contra el Turm Emsdetten). Las chicas cumplieron su objetivo al vencer 3,5:2,5. En el primer tablero Pia Cramling hizo tablas frente a Ketino Kachiani-Gersinka. Pero el equipo de hombres, a pesar de jugar en casa, cedió el cetro a los de Colonia. Las victorias de Anand (contra Lutz) y Vallejo (contra Andersson) no sirvieron frente a las de Van Wely (frente a Shirov), Graf (frente a Dautov) y Vaganjan (contra Bumann). Web de la Bundesliga
