Primer torneo de Ajedrez Camilo José Cela

19/01/2005 – El escritor Fernando Arrabal apadrinó el primer Torneo de Ajedrez Camilo José Cela que se desarrolló el sábado en la fundación. El encuentro inicialmente se convocó en la modalidad escolar pero terminó siendo un Abierto Internacional. Participaron numerosos ajedrecistas gallegos, los campeones de Galicia y España y dos Maestros Internacionales: el argentino Alejandro Hoffman y Aleksa Strikovic de Serbia-Montegro. Arrabal dejó atónitos a los jugadores cuando, al acabar el torneo, reprodujo uno a uno los movimientos de la partida entre Hoffman y Strikovic. Noticia completa
