La joven maestra ha exhibió un juego emprendedor y sólido sin conceder nada a sus rivales. Esta vez con mayor éxito, ha sabido aprovechar sus oportunidades logrando 4 triunfos y 1 empate (tablas) para un total de 4.5 de posibles 5 puntos.

En una partida en que todo parecía que Vazquez Maccarini iba a perder se sobrepuso aprovechando unos descuidos de su rival logro lo inesperado un merecido empate ante el maestro internacional Alejandro Montalvo Rosario.

Cabe mencionar la gran actuación de varios de nuestros jóvenes en estas primeras 5 rondas. Dos de ellos son Miguel Boggiano Pereira de 15 años de edad y Juan Jose Davila Blanco de 16 años de edad que hasta el momento comparten el segundo lugar con 4 puntos.
