Putin se reúne con Ilyumzhinov

10/08/2006 – En reunión celebrada en Moscú, el Presidente de Rusia, Vladimir Putin, felicitó a Kirsan Ilyumzhinov por su reciente reelección como Presidente de la FIDE y destacó la importancia que para Rusia tiene que un compatriota dirija una de las federaciones deportivas más grandes del mundo. Ilyumzhinov informó a Putin sobre el estado en que se encuentran los preparativos del match de reunificación del título mundial, que disputarán Vladimir Kramnik y Veselin Topalov en Elista, a finales de septiembre.
