Putin y Kuchma harán las primeras jugadas

20/07/2003 – Parece que se confirma que el encuentro entre Garry Kasparov y Ruslan Ponomariov tendrá lugar en Yalta (Ucrania), en septiembre, a partir del día 19, un día antes de que comience la cumbre de la Comunidad de Estados Independientes que también se celebrará allí. En la web de la FIDE se anuncia también que el presidente Putin ha aceptado la invitación oficial para tomar parte en la ceremonia inaugural y que él y su colega ucranio Leonid Kuchma, harán las jugadas iniciales.
