¡Magnus Carlsen estuvo en su salsa! En una Grunfeld con 3.f3 que condujo a un mediojuego agudo, en el que las blancas querían atacar por el flanco de rey y las negras por el de dama, Magnus primero realizó algunas jugadas defensivas tranquilas y después sacrificó si peón a con 17.h4, el comienzo de un fino ataque.
