14/01/2005 – Dos jugadores muy conocidos en España lideran el XXX Abierto Internacional "Ciudad de Sevilla" con 7 puntos de 8 posibles: Oleg Korneev y Daniel Cámpora que ganaron sus partidas en la ronda 8. Le siguen de cerca 4 jugadores : el uzbeko Khamrakulov, el ruso Epishin, el rumano Mircea Parligras y el joven talento colombiano Sergio Barrientos.
