Arjun logró una contundente victoria sobre Eltaj Safarli (AZE) y se convirtió en el número 6 del mundo en la clasificación en vivo. Aravindh e Iniyan se impusieron a Bharath Subramaniyam H y Pouya Idani (IRI); Sethuraman S P, Sankalp Gupta, B Adhiban y Harika Dronavalli empataron contra Teimour Radjabov (AZE), Samvel Ter-Sahakyan (ARM), Abhimanyu Puranik y Manuel Petrosyan (ARM), respectivamente.
