Shirov, la FIDE, Octagon y la bolsa de premios de Dubai

18/04/2002 – Inicialmente les prometieron una bolsa de premios de medio millón de dólares pero cuando llegaron a Dubai les dijeron que se había reducido a 120,000 USD. Les informamos del malestar que este tema produjo durante el transcurso de la competición. Al final parecía que las aguas habían vuelto a su cauce.
