Thomas Luther es el Campeón de Alemania

04/12/2002 – Por segunda vez desde 1993, Thomas Luther se ha proclamado Campeón de Alemania, en la LXXIV edición del torneo, que se disputó en Saarbrücken entre el 21 y el 30 de noviembre. Luther totalizó 7.0 puntos en las 9 rondas y superó en medio punto al GM Alexander Graf y al joven de 20 años MI Florian Handke (que obtuvo su tercera norma de GM), segundo y tercer clasificado, respectivamente.
