Torneo Regilor en Rumanía

18/06/2007 – Por primera vez desde hace 50 años, Rumanía es anfitriona de un torneo internacional magistral: el "Turneul Regilor", que se celebra del 15 al 27 de junio en Bazna. Los participantes son once estrellas internacionales: Ulf Andersson,  Alexander Beliavsky, Maia Chiburdanidze, Alexander Khalifman, Henrique Mecking, Lajos Portisch, Zoltan Ribli, Andrei Sokolov, Mihail Suba, Jan Timman y Rafael Vaganian. El torneo ha sido organizado por iniciativa del Club Alex 2001 que encontró apoyo para su idea en la Federación Rumana de Ajedrez y en la empresa Romgaz, que es el patrocinador exclusivo.
