Se trata de un torneo de liga a doble vuelta. El grupo Corona en esta ocasión cuenta con las actuaciones de: Vladimir Kramnik, Anish Giri, Maxime Vachier Lagrave y Judit Polgar. Además hay otros torneos: el Abierto Univé (un torneo suizo a nueve rondas con alrededor de 90 jugadores con una valoración Elo mínima de 2000 puntos) y una competición para aficionados que se divide en dos grupos, cada uno con 84 participantes.
