01/08/2015 – Entre el 20 y el 25 de agosto se celebrará el V Festival Internacional de Ajedrez Juvenil en Gibraltar. La sede será el hotel Caleta y seguirá el patrón de éxito del Festival de Ajedrez Tradewise, que ofrece la posibilidad de combinar ajedrez con ocio y encuentros sociales. Además del torneo principal habrá simultáneas, clases magistrales y ajedrez relámpago.

El evento se celebra bajo los auspicios de la Federación Inglesa de Ajedrez. La sede será The Caleta Hotel y seguirá el patrón de éxito del Festival de ajedrez de Gibraltar Tradewise, que ofrece la oportunidad de jugar al ajedrez de calidad y competitivo con un programa social, de ocio y educativo igualmente sólido.
El ministro de Cultura y Deporte inaugurará el evento el día 21 de agosto y este finalizará con la cena de entrega de premios el día 24 de agosto.
