VIII Torneo Internacional de Ajedrez de Montreal

23/07/2007 – Desde el pasado jueves, 19 de julio y hasta el domingo 29 se está celebrando el VIII Torneo Internacional de Ajedrez de Montreal. Ha sido incluido por la ACP (Asociación Profesional de Ajedrez) en el cuarto Tour Anual 2007-2008, que se reserva para las competiciones del más alto nivel mundial. Participan 10 grandes maestros y, aunque los favoritos por su Elo son Vassily Ivanchuk (2762) y Gata Kamsky (2718), después de tres rondas en primer lugar marchan con 2,5 puntos Pentala Harikrishna (2664) y Sergei Tiviakov (2648).
