04/04/2002 – Es, sin duda, uno de los mejores jugadores de ajedrez de todos los tiempos: dos veces aspirante al campeonato del mundo, GM relevante que cosecha grandes éxitos internacionales, incluso en la actualidad, a sus 71 años. Ahora, Viktor Kortschnoi ha sido recompensado con el título de Doctor honoris causa por la Universidad Independiente de Moldavia.
