Se juegan por el sistema de liga en el tradicional De Moriaan Center de Wijk aan Zee. Los tres grupos de grandes maestros tienen 14 jugadores. Todas las rondas comienzan a las 13:30 horas, excepto la última del 29 de enero, que comenzará a las 12:30 horas. Los días de descanso son: 18, 23 y 26 de enero.
