Sardinia World Chess Festival 2024

La séptima ronda del Festival Mundial de Ajedrez Cerdeña 2024 estuvo repleta de acción. El único líder, GM Yair Parkhov (ISR), mantuvo su ventaja. Sin embargo, perdió una buena oportunidad de ampliarla en un punto contra el GM Maksim Chigaev (ESP) en el final. El GM Jorden van Foreest (NED) lo dio todo para conseguir un doble triplete. Sin embargo, el GM Alan Pichot (ESP) ofreció una defensa increíble y privó a su rival de su sexta victoria consecutiva. El GM Lorenzo Lodici (ITA) se impuso con autoridad al GM Paul Velten (FRA). La WFM Alexandra Botez (CAN) se impuso a Hugues Benoit (FRA) y aumentó su ventaja en un punto. La octava ronda comienza mañana a las 15:00 (hora local), 18:30 (IST).
