El excampeón mundial juvenil Abhijeet Gupta es el favorito principal en el XI Festival Internacional de Ajedrez que se disputa entre el 5 y el 13 de enero de 2013 en la capital de India. La bolsa de premios asciende a 1,25
millones de rupias (aproximadamente 16.800 euros). La sección "Premier" cuenta
con 100 participantes, entre ellos más de 50 jugadores titulados, incluyendo a
algunos de los más fuertes de India.
