Venció el destacado GM rumano Liviu Dieter Nisipeanu, totalizando 7,5 puntos y sacando uno de ventaja al belga Mikhail Gurevich y a los israelíes Michael Roiz y Vitaly Golod. El argentino Horacio Saldaño fue el mejor hispano (18º, 6 puntos). El cubano Lázaro Bruzón no anduvo fino y rindió por debajo de lo esperado. A la página web del torneo.
