05/07/2004 – Ayer dio comienzo en la Universidad Bar-Illan de Ramat-Gan (Israel) Ya en la primera ronda han saltado las sorpresas. Ninguno de los considerados favoritos estuvo en situación de ganar la partida inaugural. Junior hizo tablas frente a Johnny. El mismo resultado se alcanzó en los enfrentamientos entre Shredder y Crafty así como entre Fritz y Deep Sjeng. La segunda ronda comienza hoy a las 15:00 hora local (= 14 CET = 12:00 GMT). La tercera tendrá lugar mañana a las 12:30 CET. Shredder y Fritz corren sobre un ordenador Transtec con  4 x 2,2 Ghz. Está previsto ofrecer las partidas en directo en el servidor Jugarajedrez.com, con los comentarios del GM Boris Alterman por medio del sistema Chess Media. Fotografías. Partidas.
