XV Torneo Amber en Mónaco

El lugar del encuentro es el Hotel Fairmont Monte Carlo. Es un torneo de categoría XIX con un Elo promedio de 2723. Participan el Campeón del Mundo Veselin Topalov, el vencedor de Linares 2006 Levon Aronian, Vishy Anand, Peter Leko, Peter Svidler, Vassily Ivanchuk, Boris Gelfand, Alexander Morozevich, Alexander Grischuk, Francisco Vallejo, Loek van Wely y Peter Heine Nielsen.
