Nacido en 1966, Ari Ziegler es un maestro internacional sueco. En su patria, Ziegler tiene una excelente reputación como teórico. En 2004, junto con Jacob Aagaard y John Shaw, fundó la editorial Quality Chess, que rápidamente se hizo con una excelente reputación en el ámbito del ajedrez. En 2007 dejó la empresa para convertirse en presidente de la Federación Sueca de Ajedrez.
18/07/2017 – Este fin de semana fue el desenlace del Campeonato de Suecia en Estocolmo, donde más de un millar de ajedrecistas tomaron parte en alguna de las muchas categorías convocadas. La federación sueca está celebrando su centenario. El GM Hans Tikkanen defendió el título.
