18/08/2021 – Nuestra historia empieza el 24 de agosto de 1939. ¿Qué pasó ese día? Se inauguró en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires el Torneo de las Naciones de Ajedrez, lo que en aquel tiempo era una suerte de mundial por equipos. Estaban representados 27 países y jugaban 4 jugadores por país. Hoy en día ese torneo se llama Olimpiada de Ajedrez y lo juegan prácticamente todos los países del mundo. Aquella fue la primera vez que se realizó en Sudamérica, un verdadero hito para la historia del ajedrez argentino. El artículo de Martín Di Tomás.
