Sabrina Chevannes nació en 1986, en Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Inglaterra. Hoy por hoy, vive en Londres y es directora dela Academia de Ajedrez y Educación de Londres (London Academy of Chess and Education). La academia tiene más de 300 afiliados y es una de las más grandes de Gran Bretaña. Sabrina tiene el título de "maestra internacional femenina" (MIF) y está jugando al ajedrez de manera activa a nivel de competiciones. Ha representado al equipo femenino de Inlaterra en cinco ocasiones y participará también en la Olimpiada de Ajedrez de Tromsoe, en agosto de 2014.
Comenzó a jugar cuando tenía 8 años y ha conquistado 10 títulos de ajedrez británicos desde entonces. Es entrenadora y muy popular por su estilo particular de enseñanza. También es autora de DVDs del surtido de ChessBase.
