07/06/2023 – Es una historia alentadora: un gran maestro de ajedrez visita un centro penitenciario para inspirar a los reclusos jugando al ajedrez con ellos. El GM uzbeko-estadounidense Timur Gareyev, poseedor del récord mundial de ajedrez a la ciega, durante su visita ofreció una exhibición de partidas simultáneas. Aparte de la sesión del ajedrez a la ciega, tambißen impartió clases de ajedrez. Tony Ballard, Director del programa de divulgación en prisiones de "The Gift of Chess", describe la visita del GM y su propia rehabilitación con el ajedrez guiando su vida.
