El Centro de Ajedrez de Baden-Baden invita al Grenke Chess Classic 2015, un torneo magistral de clase superior. Los organizadores se alegran de poder anunciar un grupo de participantes extraordinario, encabezado por el Campeón del Mundo Magnus Carlsen y el que ha sido el último retador de Carlsen por el título mundial, el ex campeón del mundo Viswanathan Anand. Ésta es la tercera edición del Grenke Chess Classic tras las ediciones disputadas en 2013 y 2014.
La inauguración
El pasado domingo por la tarde se llevó a cabo el sorteo de los emparejamientos en el Hotel Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, que a la vez es uno de los patrocinadores del Grenke Chess Classic. Al Campeón del Mundo, Magnus Carlsen, le tocó jugar con negras en la primera partida.

El torneo se disputará a una sola vuelta entre el 2 y el 9 de febrero en los salones históricos del Kurhaus en el centro de Baden-Baden, el mismo lugar donde también se suelen disputar las competiciones de la Bundesliga que el OSG Baden-Baden juegue como local. Las partidas comenzarán a las 15:00 CET. El jueves, 5 de febrero de 2015 es día de descanso.
