Australian Masters 2015 en Melbourne
El club de ajedrez de Melbourne actualmente está organizando dos torneos para jóvenes jugadores, válidos para obtener normas FIDE. Se llaman "Australian Masters". En el magistral, el favorito del torneo era el gran maestro letón Arturs Neiksans, pero tras seis rondas, Neiksans tan solo tiene 4 puntos. Hay dos jugadores que tienen más puntos: Max Illingworth está dominando el torneo. Hasta ahora únicamente ha firmado un empate y ha ganado las demás partidas. A medio punto va Kanan Izzat (de Azerbaiyán) tras haber desalojado del tablero al gran maestro ruso Vassily Papin en la defensa Caro Kann.
