Anti-Bayonete-Attack in the King's Indian
Los aficionados a la India de Rey que escogen el ataque Mar del Plata (7...Cc6) contra el sistema clásico de las blancas (1.d4 Cf6 2.c4 g6 3.Cc3 Ag7 4.e4 d6 5.Cf3 0-0 6.Ae2 e5 7.0-0) normalmente buscan una posición compleja con ataques mutuos en alas abiertas, que requieren una planificación estratégica a largo plazo y agudeza táctica en momentos críticos. Los ordenadores a menudo no saben como manejar las posiciones estratégicas que surgen, que se adecúan a jugadores a los que les gusta pensar por si mismos en vez de memorizar largas variantes.
Sin embargo, el Ataque a la Bayoneta (9.b4) que está de moda interfiere con las ideas de las negras. Tras la jugada principal de las negras 9...Ch5 las posiciones se abren, las líneas se vuelven forzadas y los análisis con el ordenador vuelven a ser importantes. Esta obra ofrece un antídoto contra el Ataque a la Bayoneta de las blancas, en concreto 9...a5! Este movimiento lleva a posiciones sólidas con muy pocas líneas concretas, en las que el énfasis está en la estrategia, no en la táctica. Objetivamente las opciones son las mismas, pero si las negras saben qué hacer la partida se puede tornar peligrosa para las blancas.
Por ejemplo, en la posición de la imagen el autor demuestra, que los caballos (tanto blancos como negros) sirven para reforzar a los respectivos peones. Ambos bandos tienen sus peones "e" y "f" colocados en el centro de manera que la cuestión es: ¿cuál es el factor clave para desentrañarlo? Como regla general se puede decir que todo se puede conducir a que quien tenga el mejor desarrollo, tendrá las mejores oportunidades. En este caso son las blancas las que por el desarrollo de sus piezas podrán moverse hacia ambos flancos con mayor facilidad.
