20/11/2021 – Entre el 12 y el 21 de noviembre se disputa el Campeonato de Europa por equipos 2021, en Eslovenia en las secciones absoluta y femenina. En total se han inscrito 70 equipos. El lugar del encuentro es el Hotel Toplice, Terme Čatež Spa Complex, cerca de Brežice, cerca de la frontera con Croacia. 

El torneo se disputa por equipos, con cuatro tableros por equipo, a nueve rondas, por sistema suizo. El ritmo de juego es de 90 minutos para 40 movimientos, más 30 minutos para el resto de la partida, más un incremento de 30 segundos por movimiento.
