Ding asegura unas importantes tablas en la tercera partida
Ding Liren logró mantener las tablas jugando con las piezas negras contra Ian Nepomniachtchi, hoy en la tercera partida y tras una derrota en la segunda.
A pesar de que Nepomniachtchi optó por jugar 1.d4 en lugar de su jugada habitual 1.e4, las negras consiguieron rápidamente una posición igualada en la apertura. En uan variante Carlsbad, del Gambito de Dama Rehusado, hasta la jugada 17, los dos jugadores siguieron la partida que el gran maestro Anish Giri había jugado contra Ding Liren en 2022 (dicha partida en su momenti igualmente había concluido en tablas). Tras los intercambios de piezas en el centro, ambos tenían una posición sólida. Ding optó por seguir jugando y eligió una jugada más activa, pero la posición seguía equilibrada. Hubo un poco más de tanteo por parte de ambosjugadores, pero entonces optaron por firmar las paces, tras triple repetición de movimientos.

La tercera partida del duelo duró 30 movimientos realizados durante tres horas de juego.
Este resultado habrá sido una inyección de confianza para Ding Liren, que controlaba la posición en esta partida y logró unas tablas cómodamente. Junto con la primera partida, se trata del segundo empate en este duelo. El resultado en el enfrentamiento a 14 partidas es ahora de 2:1 a favor de Ian Nepomniachtchi.
La cuarta partida del del duelo se disputará mañana jueves, 13 de abril, a partir de las 11:00 CEST (15:00 hora local de Astaná).
