Inaugurado I Congreso Nacional de Ajedrez “Tu herramienta pedagógica”
En un esfuerzo conjunto entre el Gobierno del Distrito Capital, a través de la Subsecretaría de Educación; el jefe de Gobierno del Distrito Capital, Ernesto Villegas; el Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Educación y la Federación Venezolana de Ajedrez (FVA), este miércoles comenzó el I Congreso Nacional de Ajedrez escolar “Tu herramienta pedagógica”.
El congreso surge de la necesidad de darle continuidad a una iniciativa que tuvo el Gobierno Bolivariano en el año 2005, de establecer la práctica del ajedrez como una herramienta pedagógica para ser utilizada a nivel nacional en la educación primaria. Iniciativa que forma parte de las políticas de impulso de deporte que lleva a cabo exitosamente el jefe de Gobierno del Distrito Capital, Ernesto Villegas.
Cerca de las 9:30 de la mañana dio inicio la ceremonia inaugural que contó con la brillante participación de la Banda Marcial del Distrito Capital, mientras que en las inmediaciones del Teatro Principal se efectúan actividades paralelas dirigidas a todo público, como partidas de ajedrez de libre participación.
Con el propósito de suministrar a docentes y público en general las herramientas necesarias para implementar el ajedrez como un mecanismo de enseñanza en las escuelas, 6 interesantes ponencias se presentarán durante este congreso que se llevará a cabo los días 29 y 30 de abril a partir de las 9 de la mañana hasta las 4 de la tarde, en el Teatro Principal de Caracas.
Las ponencias del congreso serán dictadas por docentes y maestros de este juego, todos con conocimientos académicos, científicos, pedagógicos y técnicos. A continuación el programa de ponencias:

Lic. Juan Rohl (Licenciado en gerencia de empresas, MI y miembro de la selección olímpica de Venezuela): "Academia Nacional de Ajedrez: Sembrando el ajedrez en la educación venezolana"
Lic. Mailicec Sánchez (Licenciada en educación): "Ajedrez multidimensional”
Dr. Juan Blanco (doctor en educación): "El ajedrez desarrolla el potencial cognitivo y metacognitivo en infantes"
Prof. Luisana Mujica (Especialidad en educación especial): "Ajedrez en los ambientes de aprendizaje"
Dr. Uvencio Blanco (Doctor en educación): "La necesidad de un proyecto nacional de ajedrez escolar"
Prof. Dulce Durán (Licenciada en educación): "Estrategias de aprendizaje de ajedrez en el C.E.I.N Manuela Álvarez de Sosa"
Este acontecimiento está abierto a todo el público que desee asistir para conocer y aprender más sobre los innumerables beneficios que brinda la práctica del deporte ciencia al desarrollo integral del individuo. La entrada es gratuita y todo el público podrá disfrutar de las interesantes actividades que se estarán desarrollando durante el congreso. Entre ellas la proyección de películas, documentales y videos relacionados con la importancia de esta actividad lúdica en el mundo, los niños podrán disfrazarse de las piezas de este juego y desplazarse a través de un tablero gigante para jugar una partida de ajedrez viviente.
Para la ceremonia de clausura se espera contar con la presencia del jefe de Gobierno del Distrito Capital, Ernesto Villegas y del ministro de deporte, Pedro Infante. Además, se realizará una simultánea de ajedrez para 200 jóvenes en la que participará la Selección Olímpica femenina de ajedrez, este jueves 30 de abril en las afueras del Teatro Principal.
