En este torneo participarán nueve jugadores del circuito completo y un jugador comodín, el actual campeón del mundo, el chino Ding Liren.
Los aficionados deberían asegurarse de seguir toda la acción con los grandes maestros Yasser Seirawan, Peter Svidler, Cristian Chirila y el Maestro Internacional Nazi Paikidze a través de los canales de Twitch y YouTube del Club de Ajedrez de San Luis.
Se trata de un torneo de nueve rondas con una ronda por día. Cada jugador se enfrentar¡a a todos los demás competidores a lo largo del torneo (sistema de liega). Las partidas se juegan con controles de tiempo clásicos y pueden durar hasta 6 horas cada una.
