11/12/2012 – El Chess Classic de Londres ha sido tan interesante e intenso que las demás actividades del Festival de Ajedrez han quedado un poco ensombrecidas por el acontecimiento principal. Hubo muchas más actividades que merece la pena reseñar. Como factor de diversión, probablemente hayan sido las simultáneas de Nigel Short las que más llamasen la antención del público. En cuanto al aspecto ajedrecístico, seguramente el abierto con 241 participantes, jugase el segundo papel más importante. El cerrado femenino fue ganado por Dakne Ciuksyte. Otras actividades fueron la presentación del documental "Brooklyn Castle", torneos de rápidas, de fin de semana, escolares, etc. Para que no falte nada...
