III Concurso Ajedrez y Finanzas, de El Inversor Inquieto
En los vertiginosos tiempos que corren, pensar ya no está de moda. Pero es algo esencial, y más aún si hablamos de economía. De ahí el éxito de las dos primeras ediciones del concurso Ajedrez y Finanzas, que el Inversor Inquieto (patrocinador del Magistral de León) organiza, por tercera vez, para los meses de enero a abril de 2016 con premios atractivos. Primará los conceptos de objetividad, prudencia, iniciativa y paciencia. Basándose en ellos, los concursantes deberán resolver problemas financieros y ajedrecísticos.

Durante la presentación de esta mañana en León, el director del torneo, Marcelino Sión, ha recalcado que “aprender a pensar es muy útil para cualquier actividad de la vida”. Y la directora de El Inversor Inquieto, María Jesús Soto, además de comprometerse a patrocinar “siempre” el Magistral Ciudad de León, subrayó: “El ajedrez y las finanzas son dos de las áreas que más pueden mejorar el sistema educativo tan criticado que tenemos ahora en España”.
Las nuevas tecnologías del siglo XXI tienen muchas ventajas, pero también implican un riesgo muy peligroso: niños y mayores pueden creer que todo puede lograrse pulsando un botón, sin esfuerzo ni pensamiento profundo. El ajedrez es un gran antídoto de ese virus, además de un magnífico campo de entrenamiento para tomar decisiones difíciles correctamente; con rapidez y bajo presión, sí, pero también con raciocinio lógico, objetividad, sangre fría y previsión de consecuencias. Y, si es necesario, aplazando la recompensa.
Todo ello encaja como un guante con la economía y los negocios. De ahí que tantos ajedrecistas destacados hayan sido contratados por grandes empresas. Y que casi el 100% de los participantes de las dos primeras ediciones de Ajedrez y Finanzas tuvieran una opinión muy positiva de la experiencia. La 3ª edición es, además, la antesala del XIX Magistral Ciudad de León, previsto para junio, cuyos detalles se conocerán en pocas semanas. La organización puede ya adelantar y garantizar que los cuatro jugadores serán muy atractivos para los aficionados. Uno de ellos será el excampeón del mundo Viswanathan Anand, quien entregará los premios del concurso.
