21/09/2016 – A los 71 años y a consecuencia de una deficiencia pulmonar falleció, anteayer, el MI y tetracampeón argentino Jorge Rubinetti . Una de las últimas leyendas del ajedrez argentino. En compañía de su mujer Marta, su hijo, Jorge Alejandro, y de un nutrido grupo de amigos se llevó a cabo la ceremonia de cremación de sus restos en el cementerio de Chacarita.
