El torneo tendrá el formato de liga a dos vueltas. La programación es la siguiente: todas las partidas se jugarán en el teatro Campos a partir de las 16:00 CEST, con excepción de la última ronda que dará comienzo a las 15:00 CEST. El ritmo de juego será de 90 minutos para las primeras 40 jugadas y otros 60 minutos para finalizar la partida, con 10 segundos añadidos por jugada a partir de la 41. La incomparecencia dentro de la hora de espera supondrá la eliminación del torneo. Regla de Sofia: los jugadores no podrán acordar tablas sin consentimiento del árbitro. En el caso de que ambos jugadores se las soliciten, el árbitro tomará una decisión tras consultar con un asistente técnico.
