08/08/2016 – Entre el 8 y el 14 de agosto se disputa el IV Torneo "Cidade de Pontevedra", organizado por Escola Xadrez Pontevedra conjuntamente con el colegio Los Sauces, patrocinado por diversas empresas y con el apoyo del ayuntamiento. Hay dos rodas el miércoles y el viernes, para completar el total de 9 rondas, con un ritmo de juego de 90 minutos + 30 segundos por jugada. La Escola Xadrez Pontevedra, conjuntamente con el Colegio Los Sauces de Pontevedra, organizan el Torneo Internacional Cidade de Pontevedra, contando con el patrocinio de diversas empresas privadas, y con el apoyo incondicional del Concello de Pontevedra, encabezado por nuestro Alcalde Miguel Anxo Fernández Lores.
El torneo tendrá lugar en las instalaciones deportivas del Colegio Los Sauces de Pontevedra, sitas en la Carretera de Campaño a Cabaleiro S/N, a solo 9 minutos del centro de Pontevedra.

Las fechas elegidas son entre el 8 y el 14 de agosto del 2016, doblando rondas el miércoles y viernes , para completar el total de 9 rondas, con un ritmo de juego de 90 minutos + 30 segundos por jugada.
El torneo tendrá validez para conseguir normas internacionales.
Además, se valorará nuevamente con un gran trofeo, al jugador que presente analizada la mejor partida de ataque del torneo, todo en homenaje a nuestro gran Ramoncito. El jugador que lleve el trofeo Ramón Escudeiro Tilve será designado por un jurado expresamente nombrado por la organización.
