05/03/2021 – Desde el Club Magic Extremadura anuncian que este sábado 6 de marzo tendrá lugar un evento con la campeona de España de ajedrez, Sabrina Vega, que se celebrará de forma online a partir de las 17:00 h. Las 15 mujeres que forman parte de la Escuela del Club Ajedrez Magic Extremadura y del Equipo “Magic Deporte y Mujer”
La campeona, que ha recibido recientemente el premio Reina Sofía, se enfrentará a la vez a 15 mujeres, tanto de la escuela del Club de Ajedrez Magic como de las integrantes del equipo ‘"Magic Deporte y Mujer’’.
El evento será comentado por el Gran Maestro Manuel Pérez Candelario para los miembros del club y de la escuela, pero, además, se retransmitirá por parte de la campeona a través de la plataforma Twitch, donde también irá apareciendo el GM Pérez Candelario.
El evento está organizado por el Club de Ajedrez Magic Extremadura y patrocinado por la Fundación Jóvenes y Deporte de la Junta de Extremadura y el Ayuntamiento de Mérida.
"Me hace mucha ilusión hacer esta simultánea contra las chicas de la escuela y del equipo Magic Deporte y Mujer’’, es uno de los únicos equipos femeninos en todo el país, es una gran iniciativa y espero estar a la altura’’, declara Sabrina Vega.
Por su parte, el entrenador del Club Magic y Gran Maestro, Manuel Pérez Candelario, declara que ‘"La pandemia nos ha afectado a todos, pero desde el club nos estamos reinventando continuamente. Las tecnologías nos dan la oportunidad de hacer un gran evento como este, desde nuestras casas. Estamos muy ilusionados’’.
