VI Festival de Ajedrez
Salamanca Cuna del Ajedrez Moderno
Del 25 al 29 de abril de 2023, en Salamanca (España)
Alumni – Universidad de Salamanca organiza del 25 al 29 de abril en Salamanca el VI Festival de Ajedrez “Salamanca Cuna del Ajedrez Moderno” con el que se trata de conmemorar que fue en nuestra ciudad donde en el año 1497 se compilaron la recién nacidas reglas del ajedrez moderno. Estas nuevas reglas fueron escritas por Lucena, estudiante de esta Universidad, quien las publicó en un incunable titulado “Arte de ajedrez con 150 juegos de partido”. Uno de estos ejemplares se conserva en la Biblioteca Histórica de la Universidad.
El Festival comprende de un amplio programa de actividades:
Un Torneo Magistral en el que participarán ocho destacadas figuras del ajedrez mundial manteniendo un número paritario de jugadoras y de jugadores.
