Anish Giri gana el torneo Tata Steel Chess 2023

29/01/2023 – Hoy es la última jornada del torneo Tata Steel Chess en Wijk aan Zee, con la ronda 13 tanto en el grupo Masters como en el Challengers. En el grupo Masters, Anish Giri ganó la partida contra Richard Rapport (en la foto). Los enfrentamientos Praggnanandhaa vs. Wesley So, Ding Liren vs. Fabiano Caruana, Vincent Keyer vs. Gukesh D. han concluido en tablas. El anterior lider, Nordibek Abdusattorov perdió la partida contra el ganador del año pasado, Jorden van Foreest con lo cual, Levon Aronian perdió con blancas contra Maghsoodloo. Y Magnus Carlsen se impuso con las piezas negras a Arjun Erigaisi. ¡Anish Giri es el campeón de la edición de este año! Ha sumado 8,5/13 puntos. Subcampeón es Nordibek Abdusattorv tras haber jugado un gran torneo con 8/13 y Magnus Carlsen ocupa el tercer puesto, igualmente con 8/13 puntos. En el grupo Challengers ha habido victorias para los jugadres que conducían las piezas negras a cargo de M. Tabatabaei frente a R. Vaishali y de Musftafa Yilmaz, frente a Eline Roebers. Alexander Donchenko ya es el vencedor dado que ayer derrotó a Yilmaz en el encuentro directo. "Ha jugado un torneo maravilloso con unas excelentes victorias, por ejemplo, contra el número uno (Magnus Carlsen) y el número dos (Ding Liren) del escalafón mundial. En las ediciones de las años anteriores en muchas ocasciones había acariciado la victoria, pero en esta ocasión verdaderamente la ha conquistado. Y qué bien que haya contado con la ayuda de su colega Jorden van Foreest, justamente aquel jugador contra quien Giri había perdido el duelo de desempate hace dos años".
