El torneo cerrado de Pune es la quinta de seis competiciones que constituyen el Gran Premio Femenino de la FIDE 2024/25. Las dos mejores jugadoras de la serie se clasificarán para la próxima edición del Torneo de Candidatas.
El evento es un torneo cerrado de 10 jugadoras a una sola ronda. El control de tiempo es de 90 minutos para las primeras 40 jugadas, seguido de 30 minutos para el resto de la partida, con un incremento de 30 segundos por jugada desde la jugada 1.
