Filósofo y teólogo, Nicola Lococo es también escritor, ensayista y articulista, con más de veinte obras y 2000 artículos publicados sobre filosofía, ciencia, masonería, historia…Además, colabora de forma permanente en distintos medios de comunicación y es un reconocido experto en didáctica ajedrecística.
Su trayectoria y relación con el ajedrez es tan amplia como interesante y en la actualidad gestiona el blog Txiki Xake(Pequeño Ajedrez en euskera). Recientemente, ha publicado el libro Aprende a hacer trampas al ajedrez (Editorial Peón Espía, 2016), donde defiende que el juego de celada es el mejor vehículo pedagógico para introducir a los niños y principiantes en el juego-ciencia.
29/08/2021 – Desde hace año y medio – que se dice pronto – pocas han sido las entradas del blog de Nicola Lococo. Este misterioso proceder ha sido debido a que durante el confinamiento Nicola ha puesto todas sus energías en confeccionar una nueva obra pedagógica que hoy sale a la venta con el título "Deshojando la clavada", editado por la Editorial Chessy de Alfonso Romero.

28/12/2016 – El sábado 17 de diciembre de 2016 se llevó a cabo el "Festival Bizkaia Chess & Gazte" (Festival de Vizcaya de ajedrez y juventud), una iniciativa de Innevento, ideada por Andoni Madariaga de "e4", grupo promotor también por ejemplo de las finales de maestros y del Gran Slam en Bilbao.
