Christian Hesse tiene un Ph.D. en Matemáticas otorgado por la Universidad de Harvard y fue parte del profesorado de la Universidad de Berkeley hasta 1991. En ese momento, comenzó a dar cátedra en la Universidad de Stuttgart, trabajando al mismo tiempo en el campo de la investigación en colaboración con otras universidades.

04/08/2019 – En un artículo previo, Christian Hesse nos mostró una de las jugadas más hermosas, profundas, silenciosas de la historia de la composición de problemas. En su conclusión, dejó una pregunta en el aire: "¿Algo tan fantástico similar al desvío de Mitrófanov ha sido utilizado con éxito en una partida real, aunque sea de forma rudimentaria?" Resulta que sí, en dos partidas oficiales, como lo demuestra el Doctor Hesse. Disfruten.
