Todas las partidas salvo dos concluyeron con victorias: Magnus Carlsen venció a Vishy Anand, Jan-Kryzsytof Duda cayó derrotado en manos de Richard Rapport, Vidit Gujrathi se impuso a Vladimir Kramnik, Jorden van Foreest ganó contra Ian Nepomniachtchi. Ding Liren vs. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov y Sam Shankland vs. Teimour Radjabov fueron los dos empates. Tras diez rondas Magnus Carlsen ha tomado el mando en solitario con 7/10 puntos.
