El otro holandés, Jorden van Foreest igualmente fue victorioso y hasta creó una partida brillante enfrentándose con Vladimir Fedoseev. Magnus Carlsen, por su parte se alzó con la segunda victoria en este torneo en su partida frente a Shakhriyar Mamedyarov.
